Helps Increase Step Climbing Mobility
The Metron Value Space Saver Staircase is designed to help rehabilitate patients working on ambulation or step climbing mobility. The one-sided staircase can also be used for advanced rehabilitation and strengthening exercises, such as calf raises and toe taps. Ideal for limited space, the staircase uses steel fasteners and metal braces for support and durability. Person’s weight and the combination of force exerted on the staircase during treatment is not to exceed a total of 500 lbs.
Great for Limited Clinic Space
The staircase features handrails made of solid hardwood and feature moulded comfort grip. The hardwood plywood base is coated in an ultra-durable UV-cured topcoat finish, and the handrail is mounted with a rigid, bolt-through design. The narrow steps help save space in clinics with limited capacity and simulate a staircase with less surface area for stepping.
Ideal for Advanced Rehabilitation
To fold this staircase, simply pull the pins out from both sides of the platform section, and push the step section into the platform until the middle and step uprights come together. The platform has dimensions 30″W x 24″D x 24″H whereas each step measures 27″W x 10″D x 6″H. Each step also has two full-width safety treads to help reduce trips and falls.
